New temporary meeting point and route.
WHEN: From May 12th for about 6 months.
MEETING POINT: Dyvekes Bru at the corner of Dyvekes Vei/St. Halvards gate. (https://maps.app.goo.gl/kgPURp6iSmqEGCps9)
ROUTE: Instead of Kongsveien we will start up Valhallveien to Ekebergsletta and the same way back. https://www.strava.com/routes/3486674493760731948.
Practical and safety points:
- At the meeting point we need to keep the road clear. So scramble together at the sidewalk and into St. Halvardsgate. See the image.
- After crossing Ekerbergsletta we turn into the original route on Ekebergveien by Holtet tram station. It's a tricky corner with low visibililty. Follow instructions from Road Captains.
- The descent down Valhallveien (aka VM Bakken ´93) is full of pedestrian crossings, bus stops and resedential areas. There must be NO speeding down for any groups whatsoever!
Start time, pace groups and coffee destination will remain as is with no changes.
The Road Captains will as always be prepared and vigilant. We ask that everyone keeps their usual cool, so we don't have incidents with neither ourselves or innocent bystanders.
