We regret to inform you that Aspherium has unfortunately had to cancel their performance at Karmøygeddon Kick Off 2026 due to illness within the band.

HOWEVER, we are extremely fortunate to announce Vanvidd as their replacement, and they will perform at the same time slot originally allocated to Aspherium.

Founded in 2013, Vanvidd seamlessly blends extreme metal with folk music, where traditional folk melodies meet cold and dark riffs. Their sound is characterized by brutal vocals delivering lyrics inspired by 19th-century national romantic fairytales and folklore. Vanvidd is renowned for their captivating live performances and a unique soundscape that ranges from bleak and frosty riffs to progressive and orchestral arrangements. The band released their self-titled debut album in 2016, the concept album “Under ei Morken Rot” in 2021, and their third album “Avlivsritualer” in 2025.

Vanvidd has graced the main stage at Midgardsblot on several occasions and has previously supported acts such as Enslaved, Trollfest, and In the Woods

In 2026, vocalist Mathias Dahlsveen (Kistelach) will be touring with Finntroll as a stand-in for Vreth.

We look forward to seeing ALL of you this Saturday from 13:00-23:30!

Karmøygeddon wishes everyone a Happy Easter!

With only four weeks to go until Karmøygeddon Metal Festival 2026 kicks off, we are beyond excited to welcome you all back.

Ticket sales have once again been incredible, matching the strong demand of recent years. Saturday is already SOLD OUT, and there are now only 25 tickets remaining for Friday.

We look forward to seeing you from April 30 to May 2. And for the true die-hard Geddon fans, get ready to experience an impressive lineup of 38 bands across the festival.

Alright, the festival merch for this year has finally landed 🤘

All merch will drop for sale at the official kick-off on April 11 and during the festival itself. Nothing goes online until after the festival… if there’s anything left by then 🤭
