🧊ICE Arctic Youth Community covered in Sør-Varanger Avis again, this time on the ocassion of heading to TechBBQ.

We are happy to collaborate with Creative Business Network to bring young entrepreneurs to a top tier tech and innovation event.

There is a full week of exciting keynotes, panels, pitches, and meetings ahead.

We are pleased to see Arctic Today’s coverage of Good Vibes - three vibecoding hackathons in Northern Norway.

This activity is part of True North 2026, the main partner of Good Vibes.
Together with Tvibit and Nord universitet, local rounds will be arranged in Tromsø and Mo i Rana. The last local round in Kirkenes is facilitated by us at Sør-Varanger Utvikling, alongside the Arctic AI Summit and ACES 2026.

Good Vibes are also part of Createch North: Arctic Creatives, a cross-border project primarily funded by Interreg Aurora. The hackathons enable local businesses send their young generation employees to increase their AI competence.
Especially in creative sectors MSMEs, new AI solutions and skills can help businesses retain focus on own core creative work, or support visual production process.

🤩 We would like to invite you to participate in the Interreg Aurora funded AI Masterclass organized by the Createch North: AI Leap project, which we are a part of.

The Masterclass is specifically designed for companies working in the creative industries and digital solutions sector in the Interreg Aurora area.
This is a highly valuable and inspiring opportunity for you. 🚀

The Masterclasses will be delivered by VFX Mojo, an internationally operating visual effects studio and training provider.
VFX Mojo's founders and instructors, Karim and Maria Sahai, have decades of experience in film and VFX production as well as industry training.

Their work has been featured in major productions such as The Lord of the Rings, Avatar, Dune: Part Two, and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

🥳 Leading to the Arctic AI Summit in October, we have teamed up with True North 2026 on creating 3 vibecoding hackathons in Northern Norway 🇳🇴

Primarily youth, 18-35yo, will have the opportunity to learn how AI can help them code and design through a very hands on experience.

We are happy to have Bilt.me join us on site, share their expertise, and provide enough credits for every team to make their rockstar solution for various challenges.

Locally, we’ve got a couple of fantastic partners to facilitate rounds in Troms and Nordland.

Tvibit will co-host Troms Good Vibes in Tromsø on 4-6 September (apply by 25 August 12:00 noon local time).

Nord universitet will co-host Nordland Good Vibes in Mo i Rana on 30 September - 2 October (apply by 9 September end of the day local time).

Last but not least, right before the Arctic AI Summit, and throughout, Finnmark Good Vibes will happen on 19-21 October (apply by 9 September end of the day local time), hosted by us at Sør-Varanger Utvikling.

The winner of each local round will pitch in the main Final during the 21 October evening social networking event.

This is a great opportunity for local youth to solve community and business challenges, or to boost the long-planned startup idea. 🧊
