We are proud to present the bands who won a spot at this year’s Midgardsblot through He***te i Vestfold x Midgardsblot Band Battles!
After two nights at Kulturhuset 37 filled with raw energy, passion and an incredibly high level from all participating bands, these five acts will now take the next step and enter the Blot:
⚔️ LEPERPEST
Death metal from Moss/Jessheim, inspired by both the Swedish and American scenes. Young, brutal and full of energy — with new material on the way.
⚔️ MYSTERY
An ambitious young band with strong live shows, heavy energy and a debut album coming in 2026. Expect attitude, effects and a lot of stage presence.
⚔️ SVARTILAAGEN
Black metal from Fredrikstad/Sarpsborg/Ski, blending extreme metal with Norwegian folk-inspired riffs, pagan atmosphere and brutal force.
⚔️ TYRANNY
A rising force in Norwegian black metal, inspired by the early ’90s tradition while shaping their own relentless sound.
⚔️ DESPAIR
Raw, heavy and dark black metal from the deepest corners of hell. With their debut EP on the way, Despair are ready to unleash the darkness.
