Norges Tamil filmfestival er en feiring av globale tamilske filmer, bred publikumsfestival som foregår over fem dager fra 25. Festivalens hjerte skal være i Oslo og på Lørenskog hus, der "Tamiler Award" prisutdeling og konsert vil være høydepunktet, stedet der festivalteamet, gjester og andre filminteresserte møtes. Tamil Cinema has progressed considerably in the last two decades and competing wit

h World Cinema on quality of production and content. Tamil cinema today is a benchmark for several other film industries in India. To celebrate the progress of Tamil Cinema and to give an opportunity to see the latest films in theatres, we are happy to organize a festival under the name “Norway Tamil Film Festival 2011” in Norway. This will be an annual feature subject to the response of the Tamil people of Norway for this festival. We are planning to screen the following highly acclaimed Tamil films during the Festival between 20th April to 25th April 2011 at Filmenshus Kino , Lørenskog Kino, Triaden.

உலகத் தமிழ் உறவுகள் அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம்,
நோர்வே தமிழ்த் திரைப்பட விழா கலை நிகழ்வுகள் பலவற்றுடன் மிகச் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற ஒழுங்குகள் நடைபெற்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

எதிர்வரும் ஏப்ரல் 25, ஏப்ரல் 26 ஆம் தேதிகளில் நடைபெற உள்ள நோர்வே தமிழ்த் திரைப்பட விழாவில் உங்களுக்காக பல நிகழ்ச்சிகள் காத்திருக்கின்றன.

இந்த ஆண்டு பெரியதொரு சினிமா நட்சத்திர நடிகையுடன் பல கலைஞர்கள் திரைப்பட விழாவில் கலந்து சிறப்பிக்க உள்ளனர்.

ஆகவே விரைந்து உங்கள் நுழைவு சீட்டுகளை வாங்கி ஆதரவளிப்பீர்கள் என்று நம்புகின்றோம்.

Warm greetings to creators worldwide! After a short wait, we’re excited to reveal this year’s official selections and winners.

We’re seeing a rise in feature films, while short films—the true entry point to the Norway Tamil Film Festival—are fewer, and we hope that spark returns soon.

The growth in craft and meaningful storytelling, especially voices against injustice, continues to inspire us.

அறிவிப்பு : 17வது நோர்வே தமிழ்த் திரைப்பட விழா - தமிழர் விருதுகள் 2026

அன்புக்கும் பெரும் மதிப்புக்கும் உரிய தமிழ்நாடு பத்திரிக்கை, ஊடக நண்பர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம்,

நோர்வே தமிழ்த் திரைப்பட விழா விதிமுறைகளுக்கு உட்பட்டு, விசேடமாக கடந்த ஆண்டு சிறப்பான ஒரு முடிவை, அறிவிப்பினை முற்கூட்டியே வெளியிட்டிருந்தோம்.

தமிழ்நாட்டில் வெளியாகும் திரைப்படங்களுக்கு 'தமிழர் விருதுகள்' அறிவிப்பை இன்று ‘தமிழர் திருநாள்’ தைப்பொங்கல் நாளில் அறிவிக்கின்றோம்.

கடந்த ஆண்டு, வெளியான திரைப்படங்களில் மிக மிகச் சிறந்த திரைப்படம் 'Tourist Family' .
தமிழர்கள் ஒன்றுகூடி மகிழ்ச்சி பொங்கும் நாளில், தமிழர்களின் தேசியத் திருநாளில், புத்தாண்டு நாளில் ஏனைய இருபத்திமூன்று பிரிவுகளில் உள்ள தமிழர் விருதுகளை இன்றே அறிவிக்கின்றோம்.

உலகத் தமிழர்கள் பல வருடங்களாக களத்திலும், காட்டிலும், கடலிலும் தேசத்தின் எல்லைகள் கடந்த நாடுகளிலும் இன்னும் அகதி என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்ற காலத்தில், தமிழ் நாட்டில் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டு உலகமெங்கும் கடந்த மே 1 அன்று வெளியான திரைப்படம் 'யார் சொன்னா நீங்கள் அகதி என்று' என்ற கேள்வியை எழுப்பி தமிழர்களின் அன்பை, மனிதநேயத்தை பறைசாற்றிய சிறந்த திரைப் படைப்பாக பல ஆண்டுகள் கடந்து நிலைத்து நிற்க போகிறது .

இத் திரைப்படத்தை தயாரித்த Million Dollars Studios & MRP Entertainment நிறுவனங்களை பாராட்டி, மனதார வாழ்த்தி, உலகத் தமிழர்களின் சிறந்த மதிப்பளிப்பாக மிகச் சிறந்த திரைப்படம் [Tourist Family], சிறந்த இயக்குநர் [Abishan Jeevinth] ஆகிய இரண்டு விருதுகளுடன் 'தமிழர் விருதுகளை' இன்று அறிவிக்கின்றோம்.

கடந்த முப்பத்திமூன்று ஆண்டுகளாக தமிழ் மக்களையும், ரசிகர்களையும் தன் நெஞ்சில் குடிவைத்திருக்கும் நடிகர் விஜய் அவர்களுக்கு புரட்சிக் கலைஞர் விஜயகாந்த் - தமிழர் விருதினை வழங்குவதில் பெருமகிழ்வு அடைகின்றோம்.

அனைத்து பிரிவுகளிலும் தமிழர் விருதுகளைப் பெற்ற கலைஞர்களுக்கும் எமது நெஞ்சம் நிறைந்த வாழ்த்துகள்.

The 17th edition of NTFF, the Norway Tamil Film Festival - Tamilar Awards 2026 of Norway, is now open for submissions. The last deadline is January 15.!!

The festival will take place from April 25th to 26th at Frogner Kultursenter, Lillestrøm. The festival showcases Tamil and international feature films from India and around the world.

Greetings to all creators living around the world. This time, you had to wait a little longer. However, we are very pleased to announce the carefully selected short films, feature films, documentaries, and music videos from the submissions we received, along with the winners.

It is gratifying to see that the creators who submitted their works have worked hard to achieve excellent technical growth, which adds satisfaction to our work.

It is not pleasing to see that the interest in producing short films has decreased, and many have directly started initiatives to produce feature films.

We extend our congratulations and thanks to all the artists who, through their creations, bring good messages and awareness to the Tamil community.

We are delighted to have received a documentary that emphasizes the necessity of works that raise voices against injustices happening in the Tamil community, and we are fully satisfied and pleased to recognize such works.

This year, under the special category for Tamil Nadu, we are awarding two more Tamil awards to honor and recognize the artists from Tamil Nadu.
