The Battle of the Coast in The Netherlands is an international known Stand Up Paddle board event were water athletes from first timers till pro’s compete against each other in various beach race formats.

The Battle of the coast ( aka BOTC) will be held at The Spot Watersport center & Beach club in Zandvoort at June 4 and 5th 2017. The weekend will feature 3 technical and distance races for both pro and fun athletes; The NK Beach race, downwinder and sprint. We host prone and surf ski divisions, the Fanatic demo zone, The Spot sup & kids clinics and much more Aloha fun, food, campfire and life music. One of the goals of BOTC is to reward the best overall standup racers. For both men and women the overall champion will be rewarded by the best result combining all races. Make sure you gain a starting ticket and compete in one off the most exiting Dutch Stand up paddle board events at the beach.

Ha SUP helden & Battelaars!

Helaas! Een no-go voor de Battle of the Coast op 4 juli. Dit i.v.m. weinig aanmeldingen. (Thanks aan iedereen die input heeft geleverd of heeft ingeschreven)!

Máár, alle begrip! Want misschien leeft op het moment door Covid meer de ‘fun & vrijheid factor en zit de wedstrijd mentaliteit er nog niet helemaal in. Wij hopen ondank een no-go voor de Battle toch de SUP community bij elkaar te brengen voor een dag vol SUP spirit en actie op het water!

Van pro noordzee fanaat in de golven, tot vlak water supper die de eerste meters op zee wil maken! Van kids, juniors, prone peddelaars tot first timers! Let’s go out on the water together!

BATTLE NIEUWS!

4 juli staat met dik potlood in de agenda! Nog even afwachten op een GO van de gemeente, maar het ziet er veelbelovend uit.

De inschrijvingen zijn geopend! Én LET OP! schrijf je even in als je van de partij bent. De Battle wordt alleen georganiseerd bij voldoende inschrijvingen.

Deadline - 25 juni.

26 juni hoor je dan ook definitief of de Battle doorgaat!

GUYS!
Unfortunately an official NO GO voor the BOTC2020 & NK Beacrace! Due the uncertain time we decide to postpone to 2021.
But we will be back…;)
Keep training, keep paddling, keep riding waves!

BOTC 2019! What a Battle it was.. In the gnarly conditions of the North sea the athletes were showing off there skills. Coming from the lowlands Christian Andersen from Denmark and Emma Reijmerink from The Netherlands took the win in all diciplines. Thanks to all the competators, the partners, the fans and of course the crew, with them we could make this Battle of The Coast an amazing event.
