I know, you must be thinking…..WHAAAAT?!? Well…because whatever you do at this event, you don’t want your BOSS, your Mother or your Colleague to know… This is the ONE event in THE year where you can do things you’ve never done before…!!! Where you can do something crazy, do something wild! Here are the top

1. May 18th – 20th 2018 at the iconic & unique 5 star location, the Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus, right on the beach at Scheveningen Beach in Holland.

2. What’s gonna happen? Basically, a fun & crazy weekend full of dancing, workshops, salsa, bachata, amazing international artists (who will do more than only dance), parties and other crazy activities. We are also introducing the official 1st Dutch Bachata Championships. In collaboration with: Farid & Barbara, organisers of the World BachtArt Competition.

3. So, who are you? Our names are Eric & Lina, leaders of Salsa Dance Squad DC that was active in Holland and around the world. We left Holland to work in Dubai. But now it's time for us to come back to Holland and bring you our international experience & creativity. We've created a team with more than 18 years of extensive experience in salsa/bachata events with a PASSION to bring fun, craziness, creativity and a great dancing experience for YOU! This is our passionate & crazy team:

What's on my mind? As always... Universal Afro Latin Partner Dancing!

For example: This Brazilian Zouk dance demo is done on R&B music. Because of very unique events and decisions, the Brazilian Lambada dancers were 'forced' to abandon their own music. At the end of the 90's, the Brazilian dancers found the French Caribbean Zouk music very suited for their own dance style. From that moment onward, not only the dance evolved but also the choice of music they dance onto.

Lambada became Lamba Zouk and then Zouk with many offshoots. The choice of music went from Zouk to electronic music to almost any music that fits the dance such as R&B and Reggaeton.

In my humble opinion, the music choice in this demo can also be used to dance bachata sensual (which is a combination of Brazilian Zouk with a Bachata basic and Salsa turn patterns), Dominican Bachata (that can also be danced to any (house) dance music [!]), West Coast Swing (which is the basic of LA Style Salsa on1) and the New York Mambo on2 (which - originally - is a combination of 50's mambo with partnering of the New York Hustle).

My dream is for all of us to follow the Brazilian Zouk dancers' great example.
