Across four days from 3 - 6 April 2025, Rewire will return to The Hague with its fourteenth festival edition, bringing together a wide range of musical and interdisciplinary performances, specially commissioned works, club nights, installations, talks, screenings, and more.

bela’s 'Korean Love Sonnets' explores throat singing, feedback and resonance in an intimate encounter between voice, bodies and space. Atoui’s 'It Will Take Forever' moves through dense modular electronics and eruptions of noise, while Sharafi’s 'Sinthome’s Scenery' brings together musicians from across the globe to reimagine folk music as a space for community and connection. On Friday, 2 October, Rewire x Korzo returns to Korzo for its 25th edition. Presented in collaboration with the venue, the long-running concert series continues its exploration of adventurous music at one of The Hague’s defining spaces for contemporary performing arts.

After a beautiful performance at Rewire 2026, Paris-based Egyptian composer, writer, and singer Abdullah Miniawy returns to The Hague with his trio, alongside trombonists Robinson Khoury and Jules Boittin. Drawing on jazz and Egyptian soundscapes, the trio brings Miniawy’s multidimensional music to life.

The illusory music of musician, home-recorder, and NTS Radio resident Dagmar Zuniga projects a ghostly picture. Her softly sung, stripped-back folk builds dark, mysterious worlds from tape hiss, fragile melodies, and hypnagogic textures.

One of the most engaging albums released so far this year, Duori is a collaboration between Italian artist and musician Heith and Bandung duo Tarawangsawelas. Together, they reimagine Tarawangsa, a form of sacred music from Sundanese West Java, through a contemporary lens.

A look back at XTC in the XIV's mesmerising performance at Nieuwe Kerk during Rewire 2026's Saturday. ⁠

What started as a sample-based project using time stretching, pitch shifting, and other club music conventions to reimagine early vocal polyphony unfolded as a live vocal ensemble, playing the voice as if it had been chopped, pasted, and controlled by a sequencer. Through live electronics and vocal performance, XTC in the XIV carried the ancient into the present on the wind from their singing lungs, blending syllabic chants with intricate melodies and choral arrangements into a strikingly machinic interpretation of early vocal music, set against the resonant acoustics of Nieuwe Kerk.⁠

Two new Rewire x Korzo editions are on the horizon, continuing the long-running concert series across two evenings this autumn.

Rewire x Korzo #25 on Friday, 2 October presents Abdullah Miniawy Trio, Heith & Tarawangsawelas, and Dagmar Zuniga.

Rewire x Korzo #26 on Friday, 4 December presents Raül Refree & Niño de Elche, Visible Cloaks, and Diamanda Dramm ‘Chimp’.

Last year, Rewire x Korzo brought together Perforator, Eli Keszler, and Nadah El Shazly (with 3Phaz) for another sold-out evening at Korzo. From embodied intensity to fractured percussion and Arabic-inflected forms, the evening moved through a range of distinct sonic approaches.
