Across four days from 3 - 6 April 2025, Rewire will return to The Hague with its fourteenth festival edition, bringing together a wide range of musical and interdisciplinary performances, specially commissioned works, club nights, installations, talks, screenings, and more.

In the Rewire 2026 festival documentary, Raül Refree reflects on the sounds, emotions and creative process behind his performances with Niño de Elche, and the space they created between tradition and experimentation.⁠

The duo return to The Hague on Friday 4 December for Rewire x Korzo #26, bringing their dreamlike collision of flamenco, electronics and avant-garde song to Korzo. They’ll be joined by Visible Cloaks and Diamanda Dramm.⁠

The conversation with Refree is part of Rewire 2026: A Short Documentary, which brings together reflections from artists including Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Mayssa Jallad, Antony Hamilton, Asian Dope Boys, Beatrice Dillon, KMRU and Ash Fure, alongside footage from across the festival’s four days.⁠

Over the last couple of weeks, Rewire has been shining a spotlight on the work of its incredible photographers and videographers. We invited some of our photographers to look back on Rewire's 15th anniversary edition in 2026 and share some of their favourite moments that they captured across The Hague. Third up to the plate is Parcifal Werkman, a consistent and ever surprising photographer who is behind some of the most striking images coming out of the festival each year.

Slikback’s Friction turned PAARD into a collision of punishing percussion and vivid cyberpunk imagery at Rewire 2026, with maltdisney’s visuals and Tasya’s live video manipulation intensifying the Nairobi producer’s improvised take on Attrition. Six months on, its sci-fi world still feels vividly intact: an overwhelming, exhilarating blur of gqom, dubstep, hardcore techno and cinematic sound design.

Today Rewire announces an open call in collaboration with Korzo. For next April's festival, Rewire will again commission a new work for a sensory-sensitive audience. This year marks the first time that this project happens in collaboration with Korzo, the cutting-edge theatre and creative producer in the heart of The Hague. ⁠

Through this open call, Rewire invites artists to submit a proposal for a low-stimulus concert, which they will then develop in collaboration with Rewire and the sensory-sensitive community, before performing it at Korzo during the festival. Apply now!⁠

While nothing can truly compare to the experience of being in the crowd itself, Rewire is very lucky to have an exceptional team of photographers at the festival each year to document what unfolds across its many stages in The Hague. The festival invited some of its photographers to look back on their favourite photos from Rewire's 15th anniversary edition in 2026. First up is Wouter Vellekoop.
