After their successful concert in the last edition, this duet comes back to Muziek op Zondag Festival. They will take us to the warm sounds of South America, with classics combined with other tunes that will sound fantastic in the voices and guitar of these talented artists.

Wij verheugen ons op een nieuwe concert van Muziek op Zondag. Deze keer in de kader van een heel weekend waar wij in LOOkatie 364 de Indonesische cultuur vieren. Dat willen we ook met muziek doen en wij hebben de eer om Maarten Bauer op het podium te hebben met een prachtig en interactief programma.

Wees welkom om met ons de diversiteit en de fascinerende ritmes van Indonesië te ontdekken en met elkaar delen.

Celeritas Duo

“Chansons et danses van het Franse Hof”

This programme explores the idea of an “instrumental opera,” where dances and songs from different composers of the time of Louis XIV are interspersed, creating a musical narrative through movement and affect. To enhance this exploration, we have chosen to perform on a copy of a historical flute by Hotteterre, pitched at A=392Hz. This flute and pitch not only bring a more balanced sound to the flute-violin duo but also create a rich sound full of overtones.

After all the souvenirs of Kaizen Duo, it's time to wrap up this festival with Auxesis Duo. Xenia and Víctor will present us their awarded performance. Be ready for the best early music combined with other voices throughout History that have shaped classical music the way we know it in our days.
