We’re back with our newcomers program, where we dedicate the opening hour of the night to rising DJs shaping their own sound.
Our first guest, hallo_yolo, goes for a relatively controlled mess of euphoric tribal percussion, hypersensitive electro, bass-driven rhythms, and left-field pressure.
His sets move through shifting states — calm, connected, intense, disoriented — steady, a bit broken, but always groovy.

We’re thrilled to announce that ARTÉMIS returns to the Surfclub stage this Saturday — bringing her signature fire back to the notorious basement of for ‘sofficial afterparty.

Every time plays at Surfclub, the room melts without a miss! 🔥

Originally from Romania and rooted in Rotterdam, ARTÉMIS — DJ, organiser of PARISH — spins with the spirit of a trickster.
Her sets twist Balkan heat, high-energy percussion, and erotic groove into something raw and unpredictable.
Fast, slow, sweaty, and always a little dangerous — she turns chaos into rhythm and play.

First time ever we will start our basement event with ‘s very unite art performance: “Like Water, Like Clouds”

Our motto was to bring back Surfclub to its artistic roots and feature more visual artists, which so far thankfully with @ ‘s we are achieving this goal.

“a process, a ritual, an expression 🪷

throughout the process of creating the SONOCHROME, a gesture-based paintbrush instrument, i had to confront deep fears and insecurities within myself: my perfectionist ego, finding my inner peace, and learning to slow down.

as i iterate on this instrument, i also continue this deep, embodied practice through meditation, writing chinese calligraphy, and listening to my body.

it’s not just a performance, it is a ritual.”

Meet our first artist: Jesús Canuto Iglesias ( ) (b. 1992, Madrid — based The Hague):

His latest installation at Art Rotterdam’s Prospects 2025 redefines space as a tactile, sonic architecture. Canuto’s work during “Soft-Coded Behaviours” (exhibited as part of ) collapses technology and material into reflective, transformative sculpture — an invitation to perceive environment as sound, body, and code.
