STADSKANAAL'74 TOURNAMENT ANNOUCEMENT 2026

Registration for our 24th LFD indoor korfball tournament is now open.
The tournament will take place on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31.
National teams may play an IKF international match on Sunday, November 1.

First of all, teams OUTSIDE Europe can now sign up for an information package via the email address below.

Teams outside Europe are welcome for one week prior to our tournament (Monday, October 26 to Monday, November 2).
This allows you to register the team PROVISIONALLY. After the provisional registration, information will follow regarding the accommodation options we can offer.

Where visas are required, we will send an official invitation upon request, which you can use for the visa application.
At a later stage (end of August), the definitively participating teams and any waiting list will be announced.

Announcement 4th. International Outdoor Tournament Stadskanaal'74.
Hereby we invite national and international youth/junior teams to participate at our
4th. International Outdoor Tournament. Teams can also play with a few players aged 21. The matches will be played at natural grass.
The tournament will be held at Saturday August 29.
Arrival is possible at August 27 (Thursday evening) and Friday August 28.
At Saturday BBQ and in the evening Big Party.
Sunday August 30st. departure after breakfast.
Camping in own tents around the playing fields.

Aankondiging 4e Internationale Veldtoernooi Stadskanaal'74.
Hierbij nodigen wij nationale en internationale jeugd/junior teams uit om deel te nemen aan ons 4e Internationale Veldtoernooi. Teams kunnen ook met een aantal spelers deelnemen van 21 jaar.
De wedstrijden worden gespeeld op natuurgras. Het toernooi wordt gehouden op zaterdag 29 augustus.
Aankomst is mogelijk op 27 augustus (donderdagavond) en vrijdag 28 augustus.
Op zaterdag BBQ en 's avonds Big Party.
Zondag 30 augustus. Vertrek na het ontbijt.
Kamperen in eigen tenten rondom de speelvelden.

Woensdag 28 januari a.s. vindt de start vergadering plaats voor onze toernooien in 2026.
Dan zullen voor zover mogelijk de data voor ons jeugd veldtoernooi (augustus) en ons 24e zaalkorfbaltoernooi (oktober/november) besproken worden. Tevens gaan we ons weer buigen over de accommodatie mogelijkheden.
Houdt de social media in de gaten.

The kickoff meeting for our 2026 tournaments will take place on Wednesday, January 28th.
The dates for our youth field tournament (August) and our 24th indoor korfball tournament (October/November) will be discussed as much as possible. We will also be considering accommodation options.

2026 - HERE WE COME.

Yesterday we had our first tournament board meeting.
We decided to have our 4th. International Outdoor tournament in August 2026.
The 24th. edition of our famous indoor tournament is planned around November 2026.

In January/February we will start with invitations.

What a fantastic tournament this 23rd edition of our International Korfball Tournament Stadskanaal '74 was! After a full day of enjoyable matches, the final rounds began in the evening. Wales ultimately emerged victorious and took home the trophy.

Our three days round trip ended today in Winsum. DWA, SDO and Zunobri did a great job with the delicious dinners and nice matches.
Tonight the Mufakose Blazers from Zimbabwe finished with 7-7 and take their first international point. Thanks to our neighbor clubs.

En tot slot de thuisploeg Stadskanaal'74. Na de toernooiwinst en promotie naar de 1e klasse vorig jaar gaat ons vlaggenschip in een iets gewijzigde samenstelling en met een nieuwe coach proberen de beker weer in Stadskanaal te houden. Succes !!

Like always the host team Stadskanaal’74 will participate and with a slightly changed line-up of players. This year under the supervision of our new coach Ralph! Stadskanaal’74 won the title last year and will try their best, like any other team, to do so again.

Every day a new team will be announced for this year's For this 23rd edition 12 teams from 4 continents will participate. Three teams will arrive on the Monday before the tournament. They will visit korfball clubs in the region, play matches, train and learn about our country and culture.
