The Sport Film Festival Rotterdam wants to increase the attention for ánd the visibility of sports films, with the aim of contributing to the development of sports films, stimulating the sports film industry and celebrating sports cinema locally, nationally and internationally.
The festival is characterised by a high-quality film program, prestigious award shows, in-depth and connecting talk shows and appropriate side programming. In its programming, Sport Film Festival Rotterdam opts for activities that touch people, inspire them and get them moving and that show the social significance of sport in addition to elite sports and recreational sport.
The Sport Film Festival Rotterdam is organised by Sports Film Promotion Foundation in close collaboration with public organizations, private companies, professionals and volunteers.
