This weeks mix is from Berlin-based DJ and producer CRYME.
In 2024 he co-founded SEVEN, a community-driven, q***r- and FLINTA*-leaning label that highlights underrepresented and emerging artists. The label focuses on vinyl releases, often pairing fresh talents with established names for remixes or VA project. SEVEN is now also a physical recordshop located in Berlin Mitte.

CRYME played an amazing closing set with Rachel Noon at the last SPIELRAUM …IsBurning in August at Lofi. This mix shows his versatility. It’s a deep, introspective, percussive flow, with a subtle underlying drive that overcomes you in a delicate and classy way.

Last weekend we returned to our beloved Wibar for Leiden Pride and girl.. Leiden knows how to party! It was a night full of sexy outfits, sweaty dance floors and a beautiful community coming together to celebrate Pride. Thank you to everyone who danced with us and showed us what is truly important: unapologetically being ourselves. Big shoutout to the Wibar crew for always inviting us and treating us with so much love. See you next time! 🔥

This months smoke mix is by Kavian!
Programmer of Wibar in Leiden, a staple club in the Netherlands, where we had the honor of three amazing events.
Kavian is a music enthusiast, besides being the programmer of Wibar also hosts his own eventseries: EYES WIDE SHUT. An event focused on more breaky dubby and idm sounds and always focused on pushing live-acts. Kavian is also the founder of Strength In Sound agency an agency pushing amazing local artists from house to techno.

With this Smoke mix Kavian brings an ode and heartfelt message to the end of summer.
‘’Summer is coming to an end. For me, and I imagine many of us, there were highs, lows and, through it all, lots of beauty. This mix is my attempt to bring all of that together, a little messy, but from the heart. Everything is played at original speed and with minimal mixing. I wanted to soundtrack something I’d like to listen to on my way home from a beautiful clubnight, when you’re still glowing, feeling emotional and maybe a tad bit melancholic. IsBurning is coming back to the UK and this time as royalty darling! That’s right, we are landing back in London to take over the city’s true palace: Palais. On October 10th, we’re sliding into this sexy club for the very first edition of Palais ...IsBurning 🔥
A collaboration that was waiting to happen. This iconic venue, set within a former 19th-century Jones & Higgins department store, is a home for music, expression and community in South London, and honey... we are beyond excited to set the dance floor on fire!

Last Saturday we went on our second date and honey.. it was hot! 🔥 Seeing both rooms fully going for it felt like the right way to wave the club goodbye under our shared flag. A big thank you to all the lovely people who danced with us all night long, to the artist for creating the moments and a shoutout to team TILLATEC for always being so warm & welcoming 🫶🏼 This was our final date in TILLATEC together, but for sure not the last one!

This weeks mix is by Brownie hailing from Bangkok to get us in the mood for this packed weekend with an edition in Wibar and TILLATEC with United Identities, but also to get us in the mood for our second Asia-tour!

Brownie grew up at the legendary Brown Sugar Jazz Bar in Bangkok. The grooves of Acid Jazz and Funk are deep in his bloodstream but it sparked him also to House and techno.

This mix is a tribal infused journey which is raw and sexy, but also is giving alot of fun and uplifting energy.
Party from start to finish with smiles all around and is the perfect energy to get us in the mood to get freaky!

This version of “Idol” completely transforms the feeling of the original. Where the original carries a sense of longing and vulnerability,
Boy George and Kinky Roland turn it into something playful, liberated, and full of joy.

What resonates with me is Boy George’s influence on q***r culture, combined with the track’s playful energy and touch of Vogue-inspired spirit.
It reflects something I love bringing into my DJ sets, which are femininity, freedom, and a sense of playfulness.

Most importantly, I feel like I can play this song almost anywhere. Whether you’re into underground club music or pop, regardless of age or gender,
it has this rare ability to bring different people together on the same dance floor. That’s the magic of “Idol” for me.

Ahead of this Saturday, we’re going back to the beginning of this year when Robin Keur played the last slot during our first time together. A lovely memory of a night that felt right in many ways, with everyone’s favorite and definitely one of our favorite people closing things out: “Never Too Much” Robin. Their recording is now online to give you a taste of how it went down in the washroom with a pinch of what’s coming this Saturday.
