For Lavils, devotion isn’t a word she uses lightly, it’s the measure of everything she does. 100% Filipina and raised in the Netherlands, she grew up at her father’s band rehearsals, where music was never a hobby but a way of living. Lei is the quiet one at home who feels everything first, Lavils is the one who takes it into the world and says it out loud.
For our latest digital cover, we shot this exclusive editorial with her, capturing both her soft and her hard side, and talked about growing up between two cultures, writing what others don’t dare to say, and the new chapter she’s working on. New music is on the way this Scorpio season.
