Three days, all dedicated to new encounters. We’ll take you on a road to self-discovery. Your favorite music, art, interesting performances and street art. We dare you to get to know yourself, by doing things you wouldn’t normally do. Discover the beauty of opposites, the unknown. Motel Mozaïque’s line-up is bursting with both new talent, and some more renowned names. We constantly aim for fruitful collaborations between music and performance. Clashes that lead to a long-term memory and partnership.

The Young Talents Club (YTC) is designed to help you break into the industry by offering a unique opportunity for young talents to develop their skills and gain experience, regardless of their background. For this YTC-edition, we are proud to present opportunities at MOMO Festival, Theater Walhalla, O. festival for Opera. Music. Theatre., LantarenVenster and Rotterdamse Dakendagen.

Crybabies () brought their punk, grunge and dream pop to Schouwburgplein, giving us a playful wink through mascara tears. Their noisy anthems saturated with sugar and spice: packing a hefty punch while unpacking every emotion all at once. ❤️‍🔥

Our program at Schouwburgplein is part of our freely accessible program called “Playground”. Explore new places and community hubs throughout Rotterdam.

With a month passed after MOMO Festival, we would love to look back at our collaboration with for Playground.

For this session, Cheb Runner, Max Frimout and Justkey played with modular systems in a space of shared obsession. The public was invited to actively join the jam: bring your own machines, instruments, frustrations or VAT letters. In times when it feels like everyone is losing their minds, this session was an invitation to tune into some synchrony.

A performance about reclaiming our bodies and commemorating the lives lost, blending North-African rhythms and radical movement.

During the later two days of MOMO festival, Roodkapje’s former space at the Schieblok turned into a two-evening melting pot of local musicians, labels, and promoters – from DIY to academically trained – that’s homegrown and rooted in experimentation. This program “demo” was part of the freely accessible program “Playground”, happening at different places in the city during MOMO Festival 2026.
