Drink&draw

drink&draw is a figure drawing event that allows one to draw (a nude model), meet cool people, listen to music, eat nice food and drink. See you soon!

The main goal of drink&draw is to bring people with an interest or passion for drawing together under one roof in a relaxed and casual environment. We would like to encourage artists and people who just like to draw to continue doing so by creating a stable time and place where people can come and support one another. We are not a class, but a community, so come with the willingness to share your

knowledge and skills as well as your inexperience. Our secondary goal is to pay our nude model, that is why we charge for the event. We are not a non-profit or a for-profit, just looking to cover basic expenses. Whatever money we have leftover, we like to reinvest into new art event ideas. If you have any questions or concerns, or would like to be a model or participant, feel free to contact us.

Hey my draw friends! I am so sorry about how inconsistent my communication has been over the last few months. I have been trying to figure out the location situation of drink&draw and I have overestimated how difficult it would be. Weelde is going through some organizational growth and will be closed during the winter, though we do have an option to do it there in the spring. So, I have been looking for places that would like to host us, even if it is temporary. My quest continues. I will definitely keep communications open about my progress. In honor of the Pieta (I will never forget the name of this sculpture ever again 😅), I am going to work on putting together a series of contemporary art lectures that focuses on the current trends and how contemporary art history transitions into history history.
