Festival Downtown Exciting, new electronic music at unique locations in the center of Rotterdam. After six successful editions, the festivals musical resume speaks for itself.

Festival Downtown is an annual progressive music festival that boasts serious, international headliners but also firmly believes in it’s own local (Rotterdam) scene. Not only does it showcase it’s local artists, every location is programmed together with one or several other organisers that represent their own niche / scene. The past six years Festival Downtown has been building on a strong name w

ith a progressive, opinionated and above all diverse line-up. We firmly believe that electronic and electronically influenced music is where Rotterdam excels. Also we feel this spectrum represents the Rotterdam DNA best. The festival with the most beautiful backdrop in the world: the inner city of Rotterdam, will be back this year with a mix of strong headliners, new discoveries and local pearls. A.T.T.A - A Toast To Art

Mis jij ook al een tijdje een goeie kunst en cultuur nieuwjaarsborrel in Rotterdam?
Zo een waar er echt aandacht is voor kunst, waar je weer eens goed bij kan praten en plannen kan delen, maar waar je ook gewoon een lekker glaasje kan drinken en eens kan checken of je danspasjes er nog lekker uitkomen?

Dat vonden ALLCAPS, CBK Rotterdam, DEADCAT, De Nieuwe Lichting, ROFFA en Unity In Diversity dus ook. Daarom organiseren we op donderdag 12 februari A.T.T.A in Rotterdams nieuwste hotspot: NINE LIVES GALLERY (Delftsestraat 25).

Headliner van A.T.T.A is de opening van de expo van de geweldige Rotterdamse kunstenaar Jelmer Noordeman. Muzikaal hebben we natuurlijk weer een heerlijke lineup. MAIN en Acidic Male verzorgen het live gedeelte en Rotterdams finest DJ’s Beau Zwart, Nathalie Cijntje en ZOUFLEBOUF draaien de heerlijkste plaatjes. Om achter het culinaire programma te komen, zul je toch echt langs moeten komen.

We openen om 17:00, heffen het glas om 18:30 en gaan door zolang het leuk is.

Entree is gratis.
Vergeet de RSVP (LINK IN BIO) niet in te vullen, want de capaciteit is beperkt en als je niet te laat aankomt, staat er een heerlijk drankje voor je klaar.

Nieuwe NINE LIVES GALLERY expo coming up!

De geweldige Rotterdamse kunstenaar Jelmer Noordeman neemt het stokje over van onze Jelmer Konjo (what’s in a name!).

Het werk van Jelmer Noordeman onderzoekt de spanning tussen dualiteit en balans. Contrasten tussen accumulatie en abstractie, beweging en verstilling, keren steeds terug.
Krachtig lijnwerk, sophisticated gradients; Jelmer’s werk is fris, super herkenbaar en werkt even hard op een klein doek als op gigantische gebouwen.

ALLCAPS, CBK R’Dam, DEADCAT, De Nieuwe Lichting, ROFFA en Unity in Diversity vonden bovendien dat Rotterdam weer toe is aan een bruisende, gezamenlijke kunst- en cultuur nieuwjaarsborrel. De opening van de expo leek ons hier de perfecte aanleiding voor.
