The Dutch Kennel Club ‘Raad van Beheer’ proudly presents their 131th Winner Show on November 26 & 27 2022 with Crufts-qualifications and Dutch Winner Titles at stake for the best male and female junior, best male and female veteran and the best Dog and Bitch. On friday november 25 there will be an all-breed dog show.

Achter elke keuring staan gepassioneerde experts, met liefde voor rashonden. De komende weken stellen we met trots onze keurmeesters aan je voor.

Vandaag zijn we bij nummer 23 – Juan Alberto Grillo uit Colombia, hij zal in de erering tijdens de Fryslân Cup rasgroep 2 keuren en de beste van de Nationaal erkende rassen, tijdens de Tulip Cup beste werkhond van de show en tijdens de Dutch Winner Show Best in Show Veteraan!

"Since 1990 he has been working at The Clermont School in Bogotá as a general manager. On December 1990, he got married to Aida Rivera Franco, who also shares the hobby of dogs.

They started the breeding of Fila Brasileiro, Napolitan Mastiff, winning during two years the top breed, with approximately ten
championships. After that, they imported Sharpei and Dogo de Bourdeux, first dogs of these breeds in Colombia, generating interest and getting many championships.

He has had the opportunity of handling and breeding Beagle, Bull Terrier, Siberian Husky, Pug, Pomeranians and Shiba Inu. In 1997, they imported Chinese Cresteds, winning more than 20 international championships and the first Best in Show in Latin America for this breed.

Currently they show and breed Dachshunds, Chinese Cresteds, Smooth Fox Terriers, Siberian Husky, Basset hound, Pugs and Pomeranians, wining with one Pom the dog of the year awarded in Colombia in 2002 and with another one in 2011. Also the junior of the year 2011 with a Standard Dachshund.

As handler and breeder he has always had the best breeds from the ones he chooses and has had more than 120 international championships, showing just his own dogs. Lately he is importing American and European multi champion dogs of breeds not very common in Colombia to introduce those in the shows.

Since 1997 he has been the president of the “Corporación Club Canino de Sabana”, and treasurer and member of the board of the Asociacion Club Canino Colombiano since 2002.

Currently he is a member of the judges committee in Colombia, as well as representative and member for the FCI judges commission since 2007. He has been invited several times to judge in the 4 continents in more than 50 countries and Sicalam 2013 and 2015, several times at Americas and Caribbean Section Show, World Dog Show in 2017 in Leipzig. European section Show in Budapest (Hungary) on 2021 and Herning (Denmark) on 2023. Also in the
prestigious show in Santa Barbara-California, Euroasia and Philipines Circuit."

Vandaag zijn we bij nummer 22 – Aida Rivera Franco uit Colombia, zij zal in de erering tijdens de Fryslân Cup rasgroep 3 keuren en tijdens de Tulip Cup rasgroep 8.

"Born in Bogotá, Colombia. Licenced in education and administration.

Is currently the Headmistress at Clermont Bilingual School in Bogotá. Married to Mr. Juan Alberto Grillo Londoño, who also shares the hobby of breeding pure breed dogs.
In 1990, along with her husband, founded the Santana Kennel, which has bred and exhibited around 85 national and international champions.

Their most representative breeds have been: Chinese Crested Dog, Pug, Sh*t-tzu, Standard Dachshund, Beagle, Pomeranian, Shiba-Inu, Color and White Bull Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Fila Brasilero, Napolitan and Basset Hound.
With their Pomeranian “Grafenhorst Diamond Chip”, they received the Best National Dog award in the Ranking on 2002, with 15 Best in Show and in 2011 with an adult Pom and with a junior Standard Dachshund.

She proudly owns the first adult and junior dogs in the Ranking 2011. Co-founder of the “Sabana Kennel Club” in Bogotá on 1997, and worked as Vicepresident, secretary and show director.

Currently works as show director and head of the public relations committee. Is an active member of the main Kennel Club in Colombia (Asociación Club Canino Colombiano). Is the representative from Colombia at the FCI Show Commissions since 2007. Also works in the Colombian Kennel Association as member of the public relations committee with the general organization of the Americas and Caribbian dog show in Bogotá, March 2016 and with the general workshops and education for new judges, handlers and children. Is one of the members of the disciplinary committee of the Colombian Kennel Club.

She has been invited to judge many all breed and groups specialties in Euroasia (Rusia), Santa Barbara (California) and in 4 continents as Europe, America, Asia, Oceania; Sicalam 2016 in Lima-Perú, Philipines circuit. She was judging in the World Dog Show in
Amsterdam 2018 and in Geneve (Switzerland) in 2023 and in the one in Zagreb in Croacia 2024. Also had the honor to be judging at the European Dog Show in Budapest 2021 and Herning (Denmark) on 2023

Lately she is importing American and European multi champion dogs of breeds not very common in Colombia to introduce those in the shows."

"Since I was born there have been dogs in my life. White Spitz, Cocker Spaniels, Afghan Hounds, Labradors and for more then 35 years Alaskan Malamutes. Together with my husband Cees, we trained the Malamutes to compete in mid distance races and just for long distance as recreation. Occasionally we bred a litter and our dogs did very well at dogshows as well as real sleddogs. They have lots of champion titels.

I got my judging license in 1996, and became a group V judge in 2004. Quallified for the Landseer ECT as well.

Chairman for the Polar and Spitz National show, for the local club and in the commity for Dutch judges education."

🎯 Maak kennis met de keurmeesters van HOND2025!

Achter elke keuring staan gepassioneerde experts, met liefde voor rashonden. De komende weken stellen we met trots onze keurmeesters aan je voor.

Vandaag zijn we bij nummer 20 – Karl Eddie Berge uit Noorwegen. Hij zal in de erering tijdens de Fryslân Cup rasgroep 8 keuren en tijdens de Tulip Cup rasgroep 2.

"My name is Karl Eddie Berge. I was born in Norway in 1973 and have been living in Trondheim until recently. Dogs have always played a big part in my life. As a child I grew up with a mix of Norwegian Elkhound and Russian Laika. At the age of 14 I had my first own dog, a Bouvier Des Flandres.
From the age of 13, I travelled together with my brother-in-law to many local dog shows and you can only imagine my happiness when I had my own show dog. My interest in dog shows and pure bred dogs had begun.

Together with my mum, I bred a few litters with the affix Beralex. In one of the three litters there were seven puppies, and six of these became Champions. Under my previous prefix, Statesman, I've bred American Cocker Spaniels for 25 years, and lately English Pointers. Besides the breeds mentioned above, I have been living with and showing with Siberian Husky, French Bulldog, Beagle, Giand and Minature Schnauzers.

Another passion of mine is hunting, and I have previously been hunting and participated in field trial tests with my beagles and Grodon Setters.

In 2023 I moved to Denmark, where I'm living with my partner Vibe. She is the second generation of Sieger's English Springer Spaniels, and the Springers have therefore become a major part of my life.

I have been vice president of the Norwegian Spaniel Club and president of the Norwegian Kennel Club of Mid Norway, vice president of the Beagle Club of Mid Norway, in the board of the Norwegian Schnauzer Pinscher & Bouvier Club of Mid Norway, President of the Yound Kennel Club of Mid Norway, and many others.

I passed my judging exam in 2007 and have ever since then been working hard and dedicated my time to reach my goal to become FCI All Breed Judge. This was realized in 2024, and I have been fortunate to judge all around Europe, and are looking forward to great appointments in the comming years, counting among others Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Indonesia, England and the US."

Vandaag zijn we bij nummer 19 – Willem Buitenkamp uit Nederland.

"Willem Buitenkamp: heel tevreden actief in de windhondenwereld met al z’n prachtige oude rassen. Maakte een start in 1970 en is keurmeester sinds 1978. Als eerste voor de Afghaanse windhond die hij zelf bezat en later groepskeurmeester voor FCI-groep 10 en de halfwindhonden in FCI-groep 5. Daarnaast in binnen- en buitenland bevoegd voor een aantal nationaal erkende rassen. Is voorzitter van de Nederlandse rasvereniging voor Saluki, Sloughi, Azawakh en Afghaanse windhond. In heden en verleden actief in verschillende takken van het georganiseerde deel van de kynologie.

Windhonden zijn bijzonder zelfstandige jagers op de langere afstand en daardoor komen er specifieke raseigenschappen naar voren, mede afhankelijk van het type prooi, omgeving en milieu en terreincondities. Dat moet worden weerspiegeld in karakter en constructie en een windhond moet dus fit voor z’n werk zijn.

Gedurende mijn keuringen geef ik, naast de bovengenoemde punten, ook bijzondere aandacht aan adel en het zich presenteren van de hond. Gangwerk is extreem belangrijk net als uithoudingsvermogen, krachtige kaken en lange afstandsconstructie om maar enkele zaken te noemen. Ik kijk graag uit naar voorbeeldige en ware windhonden!

Als het om een rasvoorkeur gaat, staat de Afghaan als eerste ras nog steeds bovenaan maar direct daarop vergezeld van al die mooie oude rassen van groep 10."

We weten het… we hebben helemáál afgeteld tot 18 november 🙈
Maar eerlijk is eerlijk: we kregen zóveel last-minute berichtjes, vragen en “help, ik ben te laat!” momentjes, dat we besloten hebben om de inschrijving nog een paar dagen open te laten.
