Theater de Liefde welcomes a weekend of cinematic storytelling and Brazilian groove.

On Haarlem Vinyl Festival’s Saturday, Suzy V presents The Heat Of The Rising Sun, a cinematic new work filled with Sicilian drama, heartbreak, resilience, and unapologetic female power. Warm, soulful, and deeply personal, it offers an exclusive preview ahead of the album’s official release.

The following day, Josee Koning celebrates the music of Sergio Mendes. Together with her band, she revisits 60 years of Brazilian grooves, from bossa nova classics to the unmistakable sound of Brasil ’66, bringing the spirit of one of Brazil’s most influential artists back to the stage with their own energetic and balanced interpretation.

Whether you’re in the mood for Mediterranean fire or Brazilian sunshine, discover them both at Theater de Liefde.

Amsterdam-based singer, songwriter and painter Janne Schra has a new album on the way. ‘Work Out’ is her second album under her own name since going solo in 2010. Before that, she first gained international recognition as the frontwoman of Room Eleven, with whom she earned multiple gold and platinum records and performed at major festivals.

Her work is marked by a wide range of collaborations - most recently winning the prestigious 2023 Edison Jazz Award with her band DeVogels.

We’re looking forward to hearing Janne Schra’s new work live at Patronaat on Haarlem Vinyl Festival’s Saturday.

Hannah Mae has quickly secured a firm place in the Dutch music scene with hits like ‘Wat Wil Je Van Mij’ and ‘Waterdicht’, in part thanks to her personal debut album ‘Rode Draad’. On Saturday, 3 October, she will perform at Patronaat with her warm, country-folk-inspired pop.

BLANKO is a Dutch artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer who combines pop-rock and indie with influences from the 1980s and 1990s.

Live, he delivers a fresh, energetic show where he dresses up his songs with electronic influences. With personal lyrics, catchy melodies, and a sound that can feel both intimate and grand, BLANKO takes every venue along on his journey.

Combined with his limited EP release, which comes out around the Haarlem Vinyl Festival, this show at PHIL on Friday 2nd of October is not to be missed!

🌀Trap, hip-hop, jazz and rock melted with pop: Mula B has been a defining force in Dutch hip hop for ten years. As a pioneer of the trap genre, he set the tone with Wilde Westen. His debut D&G achieved cult status and immediately made him a name to be reckoned with.

His album Narcopop (2023) was praised as groundbreaking and awarded an Edison, the subsequent tour played sold-out venues and festivals. unique blend of trap, indie and electronics appeals to a broad audience, and his live reputation is among the strongest in the game right now.

Needless to say, we’re delighted to welcome Mula B to on the Saturday night of the Haarlem Vinyl Festival.
