It’s time to save some dates. On May 1st and May 2nd the 2026 edition of DIY fest will take place. New year, new city, new venue! 💎

Yes, you read that right, we are moving. North. To Groningen.

Why?

Well, a couple of reasons, but most importantly we felt it was time to have a little bit more room to move, and we found that space at ORKZ bar. Part of a beautiful building, once squatted and now an enormous living and social hub in Groningen. So we are excited to be in a new city with a bigger organizing crew part of a fresh community.

The rest is still the same: 3 days of bands, friends, food, dancing and overall fun stuff.

DIY Fest.

DIY Fest is an annual multiple day festival that takes place in the always sunny and beautiful Dutch city of Nijmegen. Besides the celebration of autonomous spaces and DIY punk culture the fest also puts an effort into offering amazing dance parties that will take place after the bands played. During the day there’s time to chill and meet your new best friends and eat a bunch of vegan junkfood. Offering workshops about radical ideas and politics, is our way to show we take the endless struggle to make this world a better place, very seriously too.

Let’s celebrate radical subcultures, community and team efforts. Heart emoji.
