Pitfest is a DIY crossover summer festival in Emmen (NL), filled with metal, hardcore and punk. The first edition was in 2016.

Pitfest is the coolest crossover metal/punk/hardcore fest in The Netherlands. We bring you a bunch of badass bands, from death metal to punkrock, from grindcore to black metal, from old to new bands. From 2023, Pitfest is located in Emmen, in the northeast of the Netherlands. Emmen is very close to the German border and is less than 2 hours away from Amsterdam, about 3 hours from Belgium and about

2 hours from the Ruhrpott area. We have a festival camping available, close to the festival grounds. With a limited amount of camping spots. You can also take a camper/caravan.

🗺️ PEOPLE ASKED FOR A FESTIVAL MAP AGAIN 🗺️

So once again: yes, Pitfest has a "map".
Even though the terrain is tiny, the visitor capacity is limited, and you can basically see the whole festival while standing in line for beer.

Just like last year, we asked one of our children to make it.
And honestly? It’s probably more accurate than anything we could’ve made ourselves.

Study it carefully.
Or just follow the smell of beer and blastbeats.

🖤 OUR FINAL OUTDOOR MAINSTAGE 🖤

Look at this absolute beast.
Honestly? This might be the most beautiful mainstage we’ve ever had.

And somehow it’s standing there for our last outdoor edition.
One final weekend of noise, sweat, beer and bad decisions under the open sky.

Let’s make sure this thing gets the send-off it deserves.
