Captain Cartel has a brilliant idea.

Fernando needs a recording contract.

Whether Fernando agrees is apparently a minor detail. 🏴‍☠️🎶

Even notorious pirates need a music break. 🏴‍☠️🎧

Meet Captain Cartel.

He may not be a fan of independent musicians, but apparently he does appreciate a good tune. 🎹

How Chick Corea's Influence Morphed Into Captain Cartel 🎹

What do a ruthless pirate captain, a telescope-wielding monkey, and a flag with a golden heart have in common? 🏴‍☠️🐒💛

They're all part of **Captain Cartel**, a rather unusual musical adventure where jazz meets fantasy, and things get wonderfully out of hand.

The music is real. The story is slightly less so.

No grand plan. Just curiosity, a few unexpected turns, and the occasional happy accident.

🎹 Fellow pianists: what's your favourite chord over a G pedal?

After months of plotting, drawing, animating, exploding ships and firing weaponized eighth notes from cannons, our new music video Captain Cartel is finally out.
