The Netherlands has long been the benchmark of international Powerchair Hockey. 🇳🇱
From years of dominance on the European and world stage to a system built on technical excellence, tactical intelligence and relentless competitiveness, the Dutch have defined an era of the sport.
Generations of elite players helped shape that legacy, from Kamal Tahtahi and Berrie Hommel to Dennis van den Boomen, all contributing to a culture where competing for titles is the standard.
Now, a new generation takes responsibility. With players like Tim Heere and Lucas Schell stepping into leading roles, the Netherlands once again arrives at the World Championship as the team everyone wants to beat.
The loss of Jules van der Heijden is significant—but few nations possess the same depth, structure and attacking quality as the Dutch.
Anything less than competing for the title would be seen as a disappointment.
