Signups are now open for October 2026! If you're an NL-based comedian with less than a year of experience, join our year-round English competition.

Win 'Newbie of the Week' or 'Comedian's Choice' to push for Newbie of the Month—and maybe even Newbie of the Year. Many of your local favorites got their start at Tuna.

As always we want to encourage more women to sign up for our shows. Not crazy to do so: the first three finalists of this season are all women despite more men than women signing up. Sign up, ladies! Same goes for people of color and q***r comedians. We want our lineups to reflect the diversity of our audiences, so click that link!

Grateful to be a part of a comedy scene where the people who built the community, keep the community alive.

Whether it's inviting up and coming comic to open for her, or comedians like .yazbek and many others showing up to support that same Nadine at her first ever performance of her hour, seeing that means the world to us.

This our scene, we built it together, we own it together.

Never take this stuff for granted
