The life of Frida Kahlo was a story of contrasts, vibrant and fragile, filled with love, suffering, resilience, and an unwavering search for self-expression.

These intense experiences became the language of her art.

Through her iconic self-portraits and deeply symbolic works, Kahlo transformed personal pain, physical challenges, solitude, and questions of identity into universal visual narratives.

Her paintings reveal the body not only as a source of suffering, but also as a space of strength, memory, and transformation.

At our immersive exhibition, we invite you to step into Frida Kahlo’s world to explore the emotions, stories, and artistic vision behind some of her most remarkable works.

Discover the life and legacy of one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.

Did you know that Vincent van Gogh was once believed to be colorblind?

The intense yellows and unusual color combinations in his paintings inspired many theories, from visual impairments to side effects of digitalis, a medication he was thought to have taken.

Today, however, most researchers consider this a myth. Van Gogh’s letters reveal that his use of color was a deliberate artistic choice. Inspired by Japanese art, he saw color as a powerful tool for expressing emotions rather than simply depicting reality.

For Van Gogh, yellow was not a symptom of illness, it was a language of feeling.

Discover his masterpieces in a unique immersive format at Vincent Hall in Amsterdam✨
