ENCORE: De wekelijkse hiphop en R&B clubnacht van de Melkweg
Elke zaterdag in de Melkweg, Amsterdam vanaf 25 augustus
Met ENCORE heeft Amsterdam eindelijk een wekelijkse clubnacht voor liefhebbers van hiphop, R&B en verwante muziekstijlen. sinds Eind augustus 2012 verzamelen de beste dj’s van het land zich elke zaterdag in de Melkweg voor een clubnacht waar het niet gaat
om het beoordelen van elkaars outfit, maar om het losgaan op de betere hiphop en R&B in brede zin. Meer kwaliteit, meer gezelligheid, meer muziek en meer verrassingen. Hiphop en R&B hebben de afgelopen jaren een harde comeback gemaakt in de Nederlandse clubs. De hiphopcultuur is niet meer weg te denken uit het modebeeld en is volop aanwezig in de media. De ideale locatie voor deze clubnacht is de alom bekende Melkweg gelegen in het hart van het uitgaanscentrum. Het is de locatie waar de grootste hiphopact’s als Lil Wayne, Mac Miller, Nas, Wu Tang Clan en R&B/soulartiesten als T-Pain, Omarion & Bilal hun eerste Nederlandse shows gaven. Bij ENCORE komt het hele spectrum van hiphop en R&B voorbij; van de nieuwste releases en bekende classics tot de vergeten pareltjes, gemixt met verwante muziekstijlen als dubstep, dancehall en moombahton. Elke zaterdagnacht wordt de muziek verzorgd door een selectie van Nederlandse top dj’s als Irwan, FS Green, WaxFiend, SP, Superior, Prime, Jane Doe, Cream, Flava, Drivah en meer. De avond zal gehost worden door Mr Simpson en Maikal X. ENCORE - de naam zegt het al - is meer dan een dansavond. Elke week staat er wat anders op het menu. Fotohokjes, cocktailbars, performances; alles kan gebeuren tijdens ENCORE. Verschillende thema's, gast dj's, act's en traktaties zorgen ervoor dat de bezoeker elke week om vijf uur nog staat te wachten op meer. Encore, do you want more?? ENGLISH

Holiday, Pleasure P and Kevin Lyttle all grabbed the mic while visiting……. anything can happen! ENCORE is held @ the famous Milkyway (Melkweg) in the City Centre of Amsterdam.
