Twenty years ago The Chimney Brothers appeared on the seventh edition of the Christmas Stomp festival in Zaal 100. However, earlier that month Rik broke his clavicle while riding his bycicle and was unable to play the guitar. But instead of cancelling the gig, the group decided to adjust the setlist a bit and ask former bassist Armand to rejoin the band on guitar for a couple of songs.
The show was filmed by Leonieke Verhoog and Fabian Krausz and is now available to the public for the first time. Enjoy – and Happy Xmas!
