✨ MEET OUR MONTHLY SPOTLIGHT FEATURE ✨

This month, we’re shining a light on Pereni — someone who found her way to Silk Huis through curiosity, stayed for the connection, and eventually stepped into the role of creator herself.

Pereni first joined us for one of the first viewing party — drawn in by the atmosphere, the space, and the people. What began as a single evening turned into lasting connections, creative sparks, and friendships that carried on well beyond the event itself.

🌿 HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR WAY TO SILK HUIS?
“I found Silk Huis via a Bridgerton viewing party and it was just fantastic — the vibe, the place itself, and the people. I loved getting to meet so many like-minded and fun ladies, some of whom I still keep in touch with after all this time!”

🌿 HOW HAS SILK HUIS SUPPORTED YOU THIS YEAR?
“Silk Huis has been a great place to spark creativity and new ideas in a safe and motivating setting. I got to host my first ever card-making workshop, and it was so wonderful to share the importance of a genuine handmade card.”

Watching Pereni grow from guest to host has been a joy — a reminder that creativity flourishes when people feel supported, encouraged, and seen. Her journey reflects exactly what Silk Huis was created for: turning shared moments into meaningful experiences.

✨ MEET OUR DECEMBER SPOTLIGHT FEATURE ✨

Silk Huis began in December 2023 as a simple idea — a space to gather, create, and connect.
Now, it has become a living community shaped by the people who keep showing up.
Maya is one of them.

She first joined us in the fall of 2024, after spotting a Content Creators Meet-Up and deciding to come along. Since then, she’s quietly become a constant — joining more than half of our events, exploring new workshops, learning new crafts, and always arriving with curiosity and an open heart. She is now more than “just” a member, she is our friend.

🌿 HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR WAY TO SILK HUIS?
“I actually found Silk Huis through an event post back in fall 2024. The ‘Content Creators Meet-Up’ was my first time going, and I’m so glad I did!”

🌿 HOW HAS SILK HUIS SUPPORTED YOU THIS YEAR?
“Silk Huis has been such a lovely space to connect with other like-minded people… It’s nice to have a space where everyone just gets it.”

Over time, we’ve watched Maya’s creative spirit unfold — her eagerness to learn, to try, to move beyond the usual. Somewhere along the way, she became more than a familiar face.
