Client: formax フォルマックス｜家具・インテリア・ソファ｜エスティック
A dynamic furniture collection that blends a minimalist aesthetic with versatility in use. Its poised, rectangular silhouettes draw inspiration from the De Stijl movement. The four modular seating elements can be combined in endless compositions, while the movable armrests and seatbacks provide support wherever needed.
Alongside the seating, the collection also features a low table, a side table, and a multipurpose trolley. All these pieces share a similar, rectangular metal frame and flat surfaces of different materials. One of the top surfaces is detachable and can be used as a serving tray.
As the collection’s simplistic aesthetics and adaptive functionality pay a tribute to mid-century modernism, it honors the past and embraces the future.
With its versatility and emphasis on the users’ personal needs, MUTA is a celebration of freedom and individuality.
