Why wait until April?
This year, ASFF 2027 begins in October.
On 2 October at 9pm, in collaboration with Cherry Pickers, we raise the curtain on the 13th edition of the Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival with the Amsterdam premiere of El Ser Querido / The Beloved, the new film by Rodrigo Sorogoyen.
And we’re thrilled to announce that the director will be joining us in person to present the film and take part in a post-screening Q&A with the audience.
This is the first moment of a new ASFF.
From October onwards, the 2027 edition will unfold through a series of cinematic encounters across the season, bringing audiences closer to the films, filmmakers and stories that will shape the next edition, culminating in the festival in April 2027.
Think of it as a festival that doesn’t happen all at once.
One edition. Multiple moments. A journey that starts now.
So, before the festival lights up Amsterdam next April...
