*They may smile in your face, and talk behind your back. They may twist stories, and build lies just to try to paint you in a shade that matches their bitterness. But deep down, if you asked them what exactly you did wrong, they wouldn’t be able to name a single thing. Not a real thing. Because the truth is, you didn’t hurt them. You just triggered the parts of them they haven’t faced.*
*Sometimes your growth offends those who chose to stay stagnant. Your boundaries challenge those who benefited from your silence. Your peace is a threat to people who feed-off chaos. You remind them of who they wish they were brave enough to become. And instead of facing that, they decide to hate.*
*But don’t let it change you. Don’t shrink to make them comfortable. Don’t doubt yourself because they can’t handle your truth. Let them misunderstand you. Let them talk. Stay soft. Stay kind. Stay real. Because their hate has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with who they aren't.*
