66th Birthday: Imole Campaign Council Eulogizes Governor Adeleke

The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State on his 66th birthday, commending his unique leadership and dedication to the welfare of the people of the state.

In a statement signed by the council spokesperson, Pelumi Olajengbesi Esq., on Wednesday, TICC praised the governor’s achievements in infrastructure, civil service reform, youth empowerment, quality healthcare and education delivery, and agriculture, declaring that his administration continues to deliver the dividends of democracy with transparency and accountability.

The council described Governor Adeleke as a listening leader whose open-door approach and people-centered governance have restored public confidence in democracy.

“You have not only restored the dignity of the people through the delivery of good governance across various sectors, but have also rekindled confidence in democratic ideals.

Fresh Attacks on Accord/Public Properties: Arrest Perpetrators Before Residents Resorts to Self-Help — Gov Adeleke Directs Police Authorities

In the wake of fresh attacks on Accord and public properties across Osogbo, Governor Ademola Adeleke has directed the state police Command to arrest documented thugs of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before the public resort to self-help.

Responding to the latest attacks which extends beyond billboard vandalisation to destruction of public properties, the governor directed the state police commissioner to stop apparent shielding of these thugs and act decisively to protect public properties.

While commending a detachment of policemen who repelled an attempt to destroy statues at the Abere roundabout, the governor noted that police action should go beyond current approach to immediately arresting the APC thugs led by Asiri Eniba.

“I hereby direct the Commissioner of Police to immediately effect the arrest of Asiri Eniba and his gangs who are terrorising the state. They moved around in Sienna buses, hilux jeeps and motorcycles, shooting sporadically. The police know them and the state command should do the needful.

“These political criminals are now attacking public properties. Security agencies should prevent a scenario in which untamed thugs will set state secretariat and other government buildings on fire.

“I call on all security agencies to rise to this urgent task of enforcing law and order and preventing anarchy. The police authorities must not wait for the public to resort to self- help before taking potent action”, the governor warned.

Oyebamiji Certificate Forgery Case ; Court

In the interim, the court has adjourned hearing of the substantive originating summons to the 8th of June, 2026. The Independent National Electoral Commission has filed a defence to the suit admitting submission of the document in dispute by Oyebamiji, but only claiming that it is only an aspirant on the platform of the APC that can question such, which postulation is not in tandem with the express provisions of the Nigerian Constitution under which the suit was filed.

Let it be known that there's no amount of running from justice that will insulate or protect Mr. Bola Oyebamiji ( AMBO) from being caught up with the long arm of the law in this certificate saga currently before him at the Federal High Court of Justice, Osogbo, Osun State .
