The Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) is a world class showcase that presents a complete immersion into the world of film making with participation from local and international, actors, directors, scriptwriters, cinematographers, sound engineers, musicians, editors, light engineers, students, equipment manufacturers and all Film industry professional. The objectives are to develop the film industry to a level where the products compete favorably with their contemporaries all over world; provide a growth opportunity for these film industry professionals to eventually export their products to the world; facilitate access to investors, equipment, technical and skill acquisition through Festival organized fora and several capacity development workshops

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s AFRIFF, our guests, panelists, Jury, filmmakers, festival participants, and every creator who trusted us enough to screen their films. Your presence and contributions made this year’s festival truly special.

We’re especially proud of the growth we saw in the Content & Film Market this year. It was a major highlight- diverse, inclusive, and full of real opportunities. We hope it opened doors for emerging filmmakers, created new collaborations, and sparked ideas that will shape the future of African storytelling.
