⚽ Honest Review: I'm giving the 2026 World Cup pre-atmosphere a 4/10

The opening ceremony happened today at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City.
Shakira performed. Burna Boy. J Balvin. Andrea Bocelli.
All world-class performers — no complaints there.

But the tournament itself? Three host countries. Matches spread across
the USA, Canada AND Mexico. 104 games total. It feels more like a
logistical operation than a football festival.

The soul that made Qatar 2022 and Russia 2018 special hasn't shown
up yet. Maybe it will — the football hasn't even started yet.
