All of us at Afropolitan Vibes are devastated at the passing of one our own - DJraybeeBrowne (). Right from when Afropolitan Vibes began at Freedom Park and even after it moved to a different venue, Raymond Bola Browne was not only part of our crew, but he was one of our greatest champions and a loyal and supportive friend. Bola was a kind and gentle soul. A rare breed. A gentleman. We will miss him dearly. We extend our condolences to his family, his friends, and his many fans.

We have been working on trying to bring Afropolitan Vibes back to Muri Okunola Park. After nearly 10 years of running the show, our challenge still remains finding dedicated sponsorship. That, coupled with rising costs of artists, Lagos State charges and the cost of professional infrastructure to our standards means the show is also not viable without a significant rise in ticket entry prices.
