Sadly, Estevão Willian lost his grandmother in early February 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. The young Chelsea star had rushed back to Brazil to be by her side in her final days. ❤️‍🩹🇧🇷

Just three months after her passing, Estevão has lovingly built and opened the “Dona Gonçala” Support Home in her honour. Named after his late grandmother, Dona Gonçala Cardoso Gonçalves, from his father’s side, the facility is a beautiful tribute and act of charity.

The centre was inaugurated yesterday and will provide free accommodation and support to families of cancer patients travelling from his hometown of Franca to receive treatment at the Barretos Cancer Hospital.

Estevão, this is an incredibly commendable gesture. God will surely continue to bless you for such a kind and meaningful act. Your people will never forget this, and you’ll be remembered forever for this heartwarming contribution. See you at the Bridge soon! 💙👍

Kerr departs as Chelsea's fourth-highest appearance maker and with 115 goals for the club.
