The Italian-Nigerian Festival of Cultures is a multilingual festival, profiling itself as a truly cosmopolitan event; where cultural exchanges will happen through dialogue and debate. It will be a 2 day event, offering varied artistic programme putting Italy and Nigeria on the map. In this same vein, there will be film, fashion and music shows, by Italian and Nigerian filmmakers, fashion designers

and musicians, all glorifying cultures of both nations. The first edition of The Italian-Nigerian Festival of Cultures takes place from the 16th to the 17th of March, 2016. Over 30 writers, musicians, fashion designers and artists around the world, with connections to Nigeria and Italy will descend on Lagos for talks and discussions on arts, literature, fashion, music, films and Italian wine! It will be a unique gathering where all kinds of literature lovers, authors, readers, translators, musicians, painters and cultural mediators from Italy and Nigeria can meet and work together. Diverse programme of artistic encounters will be presented and these are organized by Blues & Hills Consultancy, La Cave Musik and The Consulate General of Italy in Lagos with the approval of the Consul General, Mr. Andrea Pompermaier.
