The UNU Junior Fellows Internship 2026 in Tokyo, Japan is now open for applications.
This paid internship by the United Nations University (UNU) is a 6-month opportunity designed for graduate students and young professionals from around the world.

Interns will receive a monthly stipend, office space, and free access to UNU’s library and gym. The program allows participants to work on global projects, attend seminars and conferences, and gain hands-on experience in international development and policy.

Applicants must be under 32 years old, pursuing or have recently completed a master’s or PhD, and show strong academic, research, and communication skills.

The internship runs for 24 weeks at the UNU headquarters in Shibuya, Tokyo, with one slot in Paris for a bilingual candidate fluent in English and French.
