Immediately after the closing session of the North West, Energize Commercialization, initiative, our amiable Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology Kingsley Udeh, alongside members of the Organizing Committee, visited the Aliko Dangote Skills Acquisition Centre, located at Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area.The visit provided an opportunity to witness firsthand and commendable efforts of the Kano State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, in advancing skills development, innovation, and youth empowerment.
The Minister’s visit was particularly significant in identifying key areas where the Federal Government can further support and strengthen the initiative. The Energize Commercialization Now programme is well aligned with the vision of the Centre, as it aims to complement and scale such efforts by promoting innovation, commercialization, and sustainable opportunities for young Nigerians.
This engagement reinforces a shared commitment between federal and state actors to build a thriving ecosystem where innovation translates into real economic impact.
