In a world where bonds fracture and sincerity grows rare, the faith of Jesus Christ becomes our anchor.
He teaches us a love that is patient with wounds, courageous in forgiveness, and powerful enough to heal what time could not.

To hold the faith of Jesus Christ is to choose healing over bitterness, truth over appearance, and unity over isolation.
It is to love again—not because it is easy, but because Christ first loved us.

So when relationships fail, when memories no longer align with the present, we do not surrender to cynicism.
We return to the cross—where brokenness met redemption, and authenticity was restored through love.

And there, in Christ, we learn again how to be one.

MY NYSC CAMP EXPERIENCE

My 3 weeks at the NYSC Orientation Camp was an amazing and unforgettable journey. I sincerely commend the Federal Government of Nigeria for sustaining this scheme that continues to unite us and build the spirit of patriotism and national development among the youth.

Camp was fun, tough and highly impactful. From day one, the loud bugle became our official alarm, dragging us out of bed for Morning Devotion and Drills by 4:00am until 6:30am daily. Discipline was a core lifestyle.

Although some lectures were very long — sometimes up to 5 hours — they were still enlightening. SAED class was one of my favourite activities. I joined the Tailoring Department and proudly represented my platoon in the inter-platoon tailoring competition.

I fully participated in almost every major event. We showcased the Akwa Ibom culture during the cultural dance performance, I acted in drama presentations, and most importantly, I served as the Guard Commander during the inter-platoon parade where I led my platoon to victory. That moment remains one of my proudest achievements in camp.

Platoon 4 was the best platoon. In most competitions, we either came first or ranked among the top three. We showed strength, commitment and teamwork. Through the leadership roles I took up, I learned so much about responsibility, unity and confidence.

Today marks a significant milestone for me and colleagues as we celebrate our Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony with NSE and COREN. This moment represents not just a professional achievement but a commitment to upholding the highest standards of engineering practice.

Looking back, the journey has been one of learning, resilience, and growth. Each season has shaped us, and we acknowledge God’s guidance every step of the way. As we step into this new phase, we do so with a sense of purpose, responsibility, and anticipation for the impact ahead.
