Love was nailed to the cross… but it did not end there.

On this Good Friday, we remember the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ the ultimate expression of love, grace, and redemption.

His sacrifice reminds us that even in brokenness, there is hope. Even in pain, there is purpose.

At Daughters of Abraham Foundation, we are inspired by this truth every day, to stand in the gap, to restore dignity, and to bring light into dark places.

Because of the cross, lives can be rebuilt.
Because of His love, stories can be rewritten.

May this Good Friday stir our hearts to love more, give more, and serve more.

We successfully held a Capacity-Building Workshop for educators, counselors, and school administrators under the Right to Be a Girl Project.

This impactful session focused on equipping key stakeholders with practical knowledge on:
• Gender sensitivity in classrooms
• Recognizing signs of abuse
• Mental health awareness for adolescents

We extend our sincere appreciation to our partner and sponsor, Mundo Cooperante, for their invaluable support in making this initiative possible.

It was a meaningful time of learning, collaboration, and renewed commitment to creating safer, more supportive environments where every girl can thrive.

At Daughters of Abraham Foundation, we remain committed to empowering those on the frontlines with the tools and knowledge needed to protect and uplift every girl.

Together, we are building a future where every girl is seen, heard, and protected.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, we at the Daughters of Abraham Foundation are proud to announce the “Beads to Business” Workshop. This workshop is dedicated to empowering girls and young women by equipping them with bead-making skills that can evolve into sustainable businesses.

Our girls are stepping into this opportunity as a pathway to independence, and we are excited to see how these skills will transform into self-reliance and business success.

This initiative is being brought to us in partnership with Empower the Girlchild Initiative, and together, we aim to create a ripple effect of confidence and economic opportunity for girls everywhere.

The classrooms were alive with voices, laughter, and dreams, yet behind the smiles, some girls worried about school fees they couldn’t afford.
Walking through Kabusa Junior Secondary School, we felt their hope, their determination, and their quiet courage.

Through the Right to Be a Girl Project, 20 girls received scholarships to stay in school, a Pad Bank was set up so no girl misses class, and the Counselor’s Unit was renovated and equipped and it became a safe space where they can be seen, heard, and supported.

Thanks to Mundo Cooperanté , today these girls can step into their classrooms not just with books in hand, but with confidence, dignity, and hope in their hearts.

Period poverty should never stand between a girl and her education.

The Pad Bank established at Government Secondary School Jabi provides access to sanitary products, helping girls manage their menstrual health with dignity, stay in school, and participate confidently in class. By addressing this critical need, we are saying no to period poverty and yes to equal opportunities for every girl to learn and thrive.

Highlights from our visit to Government Secondary School Jabi under the Right to Be a Girl Project.

We distributed school bags, sandals, socks, textbooks, exercise books, and stationery to support learning; established a Pad Bank to promote menstrual dignity and reduce absenteeism; and transformed the Counselor’s Unit into a Safe Space furnished to provide comfort, guidance, and support. We also awarded scholarships to 10 girls, helping to secure their continued education.

This impact was made possible through the generous support of Mundo Cooperanté and implemented by Daughters of Abraham Foundation.

Every girl deserves to learn in dignity, confidence, and safety.

Through the Right to Be a Girl Project, we carried out an intervention at Government Secondary School Jabi to remove barriers that keep girls from fully accessing education. We distributed school bags, sandals, socks, textbooks, exercise books, uniforms and essential stationery, giving the girls the tools they need to show up prepared and confident.

To ensure that no girl misses school because of her menstrual cycle, we established a Pad Bank within the school.

Understanding that learning also requires emotional support, we renovated and equipped the Counselor’s Unit as a Safe Space, furnishing it with tables, chairs, sofas, and every essential items needed to create a comfortable environment where girls can receive guidance, feel secure, and build self-esteem.

In addition, 10 girls received scholarships, securing their opportunity to stay in school and pursue their dreams.

This impact was made possible through the generous support and partnership of Mundo Cooperanté , whose commitment to the wellbeing and empowerment of girls continues to change lives.

Implemented by Daughters of Abraham Foundation , restoring dignity and creating opportunities for every girl to thrive.
