Goh Jin Wei ends her 9-year wait for a title with a commanding victory at the Singapore International Challenge.

The 26-year-old defeated Indonesia’s Komang Ayu 21-11 21-11 in just 30 minutes to lift the trophy - her first senior title since the 2017 SEA Games.

The top seeds claim their first title of the year in just their third tournament of the season.

This also marks Malaysia’s first women’s doubles title at the tournament in 15 years, since Vivian Hoo-Woon Khe Wei won it in 2011 🇲🇾

Malaysia berada pada fasa kebangkitan sukan yang jelas. Daripada 175 pingat di Sukan SEA Cambodia 2023, kini 231 pingat di Sukan SEA Thailand 2025.
Daripada 34 sukan disertai, kini 50 sukan penuh diturunkan. Daripada 15 sukan pemenang emas, kini 28 sukan menyumbang emas.

Perjalanan ini bukan sekadar bertambah angka tetapi ia menunjukkan keluasan, kualiti dan keyakinan baharu atlet negara. Lebih manis, olahraga dan renang menjadi nadi temasya, dengan rekod demi rekod dipecahkan.

Sukan SEA Thailand 2025 juga menandakan Malaysia sedang naik kelas dan hala tuju ini baharu bermula.

Saya juga ingin merakam penghargaan kepada Ketua Pengarah Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN), Jefri Ngadirin serta seluruh pasukan MSN dan ISN di atas komitmen, profesionalisme dan peranan besar mereka menyokong kejayaan kontinjen negara di Sukan SEA Thailand 2025. Kejayaan atlet adalah kejayaan mereka juga.

Indonesia is second with 91 gold medals, followed by Vietnam in third place with 87 gold medals.

Thailand is approaching the 100-gold milestone after earning four more gold medals this morning. Their total now stands at 99 gold, 62 silver, and 39 bronze medals, maintaining their lead in the medal standings.

Indonesia is in second place with 32 gold medals, followed by Vietnam with 30.

Singapore is fourth with 19 gold medals, and Malaysia is fifth with 16.

The Philippines has earned 15 gold medals.
