There’s something quietly meaningful about drawing this and I don’t think it’s just about making something “cute”
When you sit down to draw, the first choice is always the animal. A bunny, a kitten? sometimes I wonder if we really “choose,” or if we’re just drawn to something that already reflects how we feel inside.
Maybe the bunny feels softer that day.
Maybe the kitten feels curious, a little playful.
And without overthinking it, we follow that feeling.
Then comes the egg.🥚
At first it seems simple, just colors.
Pastel pink, mint green, soft blue…
But once you start, you realize it’s not that easy.
You hesitate a little,
“Should I make it brighter? Softer? More calm?”
And somehow, that small decision becomes a reflection of your inner state.
Some people choose harmony, gentle blends, quiet tones.
Some choose contrast, unexpected colors, a bit more alive.
There’s no “right” answer, but you can feel when it’s right for you.
That’s the part I always find interesting.
Because in the end,
everyone is drawing the same thing
an Easter egg, a small animal, soft colors.
But when you look around the table,
nothing looks the same.
And I think that’s where the joy is when we create🩷🐣
It’s a small kind of freedom
to choose, to hesitate, to adjust, to trust your hand a little more each time.
And maybe that’s why it’s fun.
Not because it turns out perfect,
but because you get to discover what it becomes,
through your own choices 🩷
Come and discover yours🐣
