Concept
The concept of “SuperRace” originated from the Marathon Des Sables held in the Sahara Desert in Morocco. The Des Sables marathon is hosted in Southern Morocco and lasts for 7 continuous days, covering a distance of 254 km. SuperRace is an international marathon brand and founded by the Taiwanese Elite Sport Association (TESA). It is open to any participant regardless of their age, gender o
r nationality. The event consist is challenging but offers generous prizes. Participants will have the opportunity to experience different terrains, sights and culture as they compete in the SuperRace. SuperRace is a truly unique and invigorating experience. SuperRace spirit : Explore the world, Challenge the limits. SuperRace is planned to take place in Taiwan, Inner Mongolia, Africa and Arctic. SuperRace is organizing a series of integral marathon around the world. At every SuperRace event, all participants are required to carry all their daily necessities such as food and sleeping bags while completing the course on foot. The events are multi-day marathon competitions that last for 3 days and cover a distance of 111 kilometers. SuperRace is a rough-country endurance footrace series of 3-day, 111Km. In every race competitors find themselves immersed in ancient cultures and surrounded by indigenous wildlife and stunning scenery few people have treaded. They are challenged to go beyond the limits of their physical and mental endurance, experience the different perspectives of the world with their feet, work out their own philosophy and principle of living, and make friends worldwide. Every competitor has his own record and ranking for each race. The annual SuperRun Champion will be determined by adding the cumulative rankings of all of the 4 Events completed and by assigning a value to those rankings. Racing self-supported in the most inhospitable climates and formidable landscapes, competitors must carry all their own equipment and food and medication for the 3 days and are only provided with fixed quota of drinking water and a place in a tent each night to rest. Competitors are challenged to go beyond the limits of their physical and mental endurance, and harvest purest pleasures running brings. The SuperRun Champion will be determined by adding the cumulative rankings of all of the 4 Events completed and by assigning a value to those rankings. SuperRace Running Format:

Checkpoints
Checkpoints are spaced at approximately 10 kilometer intervals, with the final checkpoint of the day being the finish line and campsite. At each checkpoint, competitors are supplied with 1.5 litres of water, shade, a place to rest and encouragement for the next section ahead by staff and volunteers. Drinking Water
Use fluid replacement electrolytes with water to maintain proper hydration throughout the day. It is strongly recommended to bring enough salt tablets in addition to electrolyte drink powders for 3 days to help the body's systems to operate properly when under stress. Foods
It is required that competitors buy dehydrated foods and power-bars from stores for outdoors supplies beforehand and carry their own foods for the 3 days to provide them enough energy in the event.
