Little me would’ve dreamed of having an umbrella I painted all by myself. 🥹☂️🎨✨

Imagine getting your very own umbrella… and being told:
“Paint it however you want.” ✨

This 5–6 September, little artists at MyToday will get to turn a traditional oil paper umbrella 彩绘油纸伞 into something completely their own. 🌸

Flowers, butterflies, rainbows, random doodles — there’s no “right” design here. Just their imagination, their little hands, and an umbrella they’ll actually get to say:

Have you heard of 茶果子 Cha Guo Zi before? 🌸

These delicate Chinese pastries are known for their beautiful colours and intricate shapes, often inspired by flowers, fruits and nature. More than just something sweet, they reflect the beauty and artistry of traditional Chinese food culture.

And this September, our little ones get to make their own! 🥹✨ From shaping to decorating and adding the final little touches, every child will create their very own Cha Guo Zi— each one unique and made by their own little hands. 🥮🌸

This also marks the beginning of our September theme, Chang’e’s Journey to the Moon. A whole month of hands-on Mid-Autumn experiences awaits! 🌙🐇

This September, MyToday is bringing little ones on a 4-week Mid-Autumn adventure! 💛

Instead of separate weekend activities, every week continues the same story — where children become Chang’E’s little helpers and complete different missions before finally reaching the Mid-Autumn celebration together. 🌙

Help Chang’E prepare everything she needs for her journey with traditional treats, oil-paper umbrella painting and heritage-inspired crafts.

The Jade Rabbit is missing! Follow the adventure through Mid-Autumn inspired food, crafts and discovery activities.

🌕 CHAPTER 3 | 19–20 Sept — Light the Way to the Moon
Create lanterns, Jade Rabbit buns and beautiful moonlit art to help light Chang’E’s path to the moon.
