✨INTRODUCING THE MCE ICF 2026 FESTIVAL GUEST CHOIR - Young Voices of The Philippines! 🇵🇭

🔥 From Carnegie Hall to Rome, and now Malaysia! Get ready to witness one of the most celebrated children’s choirs in the WORLD at MCE ICF 2026!

The Young Voices of the Philippines (YVP) is a scholarship choir under the Treble Choir Association of the Philippines, founded by Dr. Maria Theresa Vizconde-Roldan and Prof. Jude B. Roldan. The program nurtures children’s musical talent and holistic development while promoting Filipino culture through choral music. In 2023, YVP became the first Philippine choir to perform at Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium, and won four First Prizes at the 12th Golden Gate International Choral Festival (Youth Choir Historical, Folk, Gospel/Spiritual, and Contemporary). They received the 2024 Ani ng Dangal Award from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and have performed internationally, including singing for Pope Francis at World Children’s Day in Rome.

We are beyond thrilled to welcome Young Voices of the Philippines to MCE ICF 2026. Don’t miss this extraordinary choir as they bring their powerful voices and inspiring music to our festival.

✨ Meet our Artistic Director for MCE ICF 2026! ✨
We are proud to welcome the one and only Ms Susanna Saw 🇲🇾

Susanna Saw is a prominent music educator and advocate for choral education in Malaysia. She holds a Master of Music Education (Choral Focus) from Westminster Choir College, USA, and serves as choir director at the University of Malaya, ASWARA, and as Adjunct Professor at Taylor’s University. She founded the Young Choral Academy and the Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod, and was instrumental in introducing the Kodály Teachers’ Training Course to Southeast Asia. A frequent jury member for INTERKULTUR choir competitions, she actively serves with IFCM and ACA, and is currently Vice-President of the International Kodály Society and the World Youth and Children Choral Artists’ Association.
