Walking with a limping front leg along asphalt roads, Sulong's determination to travel back home from Gerik to Gua Musang has touched millions.

Every step he takes along the highway shoulder is physically taxing. Imagine enduring that journey while cars and heavy lorries speed past at 90 km/h.

As road users, the best gift of empathy we can give Sulong right now is space and patience:

Slow down in known elephant crossing zones (Gerik-Jeli JRTB route).
Give him room to retreat back into the forest safely without crowding his path.
