HISTORY OF SFTMA

Selangor & Federal Territory Malayalee Association (SFTMA) formerly known as Kerala Samajam Selangor (KSS) was one of the earliest Malayalee organizations to be registered on 18th November 1952 in Malaysia. The formation of KSS now known as SFTMA was to cater for the social and cultural needs of Malayalees in Selangor and the Federal Territory. Malayalees are those people who hai

led from the then States of Travancore, Cochin and Malabar in South India, now called Kerala, with a language of their own called Malayalam. Malayalees have their own traditions and culture and celebrate a festival called Onam, irrespective of their social or religious difference.

Join SFTMA and MMCA for our Annual Christmas Charity Dinner, a joyful evening dedicated to raising funds for the Back to School Project, helping children in need start their school year with confidence and hope.

Thanks to your generous support last year, we provided school supplies to over 200 children across the Klang Valley. Let’s make an even bigger difference this year!

🌟 India Gate will be catering for the event, featuring a beautiful sit-down dome dining experience. Lovely entertainment is in store to make the evening truly memorable. If you are unable to attend, any donation is warmly welcomed.
