MDV recently hosted its Funding Series, bringing together founders, investors, and key players from Malaysia’s technology start-up ecosystem to explore funding opportunities and strengthen industry connections.
Held in collaboration with Gobi Partners, Xeraya Capital, and Kairous Capital, the session highlighted MDV’s Venture Financing Programme and how venture debt can complement equity funding to support business expansion, optimise cash flow, and help companies scale without immediate equity dilution.
The session was led by Farid Rosli, Senior Vice President, Venture Finance of MDV, who shared insights on venture financing strategies and the role of alternative funding in supporting high-growth technology companies, with more than 20 participants in attendance.
