Abu Dhabi Golf Society 1979 Abu Dhabi Golf Club was established in 1961. The golf society 'ADGS' was formed in 1979 and the first two events ware held at Hunstanton Golf Club.

Hello everyone. I have not posted anything for some time. We have lost 4 prominent ex. members of Abu Dhabi Golf Club recently. I am posting photos from my collection for which 1 have four. Only Cathy Batty's photo is missing as I'm afraid she doesn't appear in any I have.
Those that have left us this last month and a half are as follows:-

Some very sad news - I have just been informed by Ian Mclennan through a phone call from Nick Dekker that Iris Smith has passed away. Iris with Alex were long time members of ADGC. Iris can be remembered also for her many years work during the Dubai Desert Classic as a marshal. RIP Iris
